High Insulin & Pain

Many people are walking around with high insulin level and don’t know it. Sometimes they have no symptoms, yet other times they’re diagnosed with multiple diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, polycystic ovary disease, or maybe pain conditions such as fibromyalgia or arthritis. Often times the underlying theme of all the conditions is high insulin. When a patient comes to you with such conditions or comes to you saying, “ I have a history of hypoglycemia” or “ I have history of chronic fatigue,” or something like that- think insulin because typically American diets are very high in carbohydrates and high saturated fat, which promotes deregulation of insulin.

When insulin is deregulated it can deregulate the body’s ability to handle cholesterol so we get high cholesterol. Another thing that happens with insulin is it can cause the inflammatory papillae to become activated, causing chronic pain that often is not easily diagnosable.

Sometimes the pain is activated by allergies, which is more complicated. You may take something in, in terms of food that you are allergic to; or breathe something in that you are allergic to such as carpets or fragrances. Whether it be pollen or out-gas from chemicals, your body’s “mast cells” produce “histamine” which activates inflammation. The histamine can settles in very locally, such as bee sting; or it can be transported to the brain, and the brain will shift it around and it will go out to another part of the body. Often inflammation goes into the musculoskeletal system. This is known as “fibromyalgia,” a very painful inflammatory condition.

Many people who have multiple problems come to their physician, particularly women who have digestive things –gas bloating musculoskeletal pain asthma brain fogging—they got told that they can’t passable have all the staff. It’s all in their head; they need to see a psychiatrist which makes them want to manifest all the illness in psychiatric condition. It is important that biology of the body be looked at first. The high insulin with it is ability to deregulate so many things is often the underlying theme. One thing is insulin will do is cause a little energy producers in cell to not function properly. Scientific studies have shown that people who have fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndrome chronic fatigue actually those little power houses don’t work right and high insulin will contribute to that. So anyone with those conditions needs to really seriously have an insulin test.

How we can help those people first diet is important. It will certainly push them in the right direction. The diet is not one that’s a real happy diet for Americans. it requires is to have all the processed and fast foods taken out, chose to heal your body everyday by consuming pure foods rich in vitamins and minerals. Continue to eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, and lean meat. Resist the temptation of sugary treats and other refined food.

ACUPUNCTURE AND HEALTH DIET CURE METABOLIC DISORDER

Acupuncture will lower insulin level. The liver and spleen meridians are key meridians for the treatment of diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol disorder. Acupuncture points sp6, sp9, and lv3 will help the liver regulate insulin. High insulin causes diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension (metabolic syndrome).

In my clinic 50 patients came in with metabolic syndrome. Each patient was taking between five and ten medications per day to control their symptoms. After 2 to 3 weeks of acupuncture treatments combined with Standard Process purification program (www.standardprocess.com ) 25 patient came off all their medications. The other 25 patients had come in with severe cases of hypertension and uncontrolled sugar levels, but after treatment their sugar levels and blood pressure were in the normal range. At that point these 25 patients were able to reduce their medications. All patients cholesterol levels were reduced by 80 points. Most of the male patients were able to go off their Bête Blocker. (Bête Blocker can cause impotence). See www.drugsideeffect.com . By limiting grain and sugar intake one can normalize blood pressure and glucose levels without drugs. (1)

Carbohydrates cause nearly all age-related diseases. Age-related diseases are thought of as unavoidable. Many people consider it normal to get one or more of these diseases as they age. They rationalize that they are simply unlucky or that others have “better genes,” neither of which is true. Their health problems are most likely caused by their belief in the many popular myths and distortions about nutrition. Most likely they got hooked by the low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet craze and are now suffering as a result.. Everything else in the store is very high in carbohydrates, which turn to glucose, hype the metabolism and trigger the release of disease-causing hormones like insulin, cortisol and adrenaline.

The consumption of carbohydrates generally begins showing the disease effects in either one of two directions.

• Body fat accumulation leads to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, gallbladder disease, degenerative bone diseases and many others.• Damage to the intestinal tract leads to leaky gut syndrome, inflammatory bowel diseases and a medical textbook listing of autoimmune diseases. These illnesses generally make the sufferer underweight and deficient in vitamins and minerals caused by poor digestion.

The primary high-carbohydrate foods to avoid are sugars, honey, flour, grains, legumes, fruit, milk and starchy-vegetables.

Whole grains cause disease in both humans and animals. Whole grain breads and bagels are not the healthy food as people are lead to believe.

Grains are a poor source of protein. Grains are the most allergenic of all foods. Multiple sclerosis, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis are rare in populations where no grain products are consumed such as the Paleolithic (hunter-gatherer) diet. Recent research shows that 85% of diabetic patients have gluten sensitivity.

Acupuncture is

Acupuncture is the insertion of fine needles into the body at specific points shown as effective in the treatment of specific health problems. These point have been mapped by Chinese on so called” meridians” over a period of two thousand years. Recently, electromagnetic research has confirmed their location.

Meridians are the channels or pathways that carry Oil and Blood through the body. They are not blood vessels. Rather, they comprise an invisible lattice that link together all the fundamental textures and organs. In Chinese Meridian theory, these channel are unseen but are though to embody a kind of informational network—the Qi and Blood move them, and a therapeutic system is conceptually organized through the details of its design. Because the meridian system unifies all the part of the body, it is essential for maintenance of harmonious balance. The meridians connect the interior of the body with the exterior. This is basis of acupuncture theory; that working with points on the surface of the body will affect what goes inside the body, because it affects the activity of the textures that are traveling through the Meridians.
